For some entertainers, school dances can be very difficult to provide music for. The students want to hear the latest hits, and the school staff and parents are justifiably concerned about the lyrical content of the music that will be played at elementary, middle school, and high school functions. Our general "rule of thumb" policy towards music programming used to be if a song was being played on Top 40 radio, then it was OK to play for audiences of all ages. However, with the changes we have seen in radio programming in the past few years, we do understand that some songs that are being played on the radio may not be suitable for your school function.
